Joseph "Sandy" Massey, 68, of Canton, died June 10, 2017.
He was a retired loader operator, a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the V.F.W.
Sandy enjoyed hunting and fishing, most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids.
His wife, Louise "Lucy" Sewell Massey; father, John Dewey Massey; mother, Eula Ann Smith; and sister, Kathy Koonce, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his children, Joseph Steven and Christel Massey, Lisa Marie and David McGinnis, Lena Renee Graves; grandchildren, Brittany Dion, Casey McGinnis, Cody McGinnis, Jacob Massey, Stephanie Massey, Collin McGinnis, Connor McGinnis, Erin Graves; siblings, Michael Massey, Rita Limbaugh, Elaine Beck, Phillip Massey and Lucy Adams.
The family received friends from 4 to 10 p.m. June 13 and will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. June 14.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. June 15 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Assured officiating. Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery.
