Joseph "Ben" Fouts, 59, of Dawsonville, died Jan. 7, 2014.

He was employed by Stasco Mechanical Contractors as a plumbing foreman for 39 years.

Ben was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Alpharetta.

His wife, Ilsa Fouts; parents, Emmett and Edith Fouts; brothers, Emmett Fouts Jr., Clark Fouts and Harry Fouts, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his stepsons, Adam and Romey Levine, Eric and Michelle Levine; grandchildren, Rebecca, Jacob and Julian Levine; siblings, Jack and Cheryl Fouts, Jane and Wayne Davis, Mary and Jimmy Cronan, Lillie and Lonnie Hamrick, Betty Mae Fouts, Ann and Ricky Trenary, Vicky and Mike Patterson; sister-in-law, Darlene Fouts; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 11 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
