John S. Edwards died on Oct. 31, 2020, after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Janice L. Edens; his children, Denise Wilson and Tim Edwards; his stepson, Darren L. Mobley; his grandchildren, Todd Wilson, Eva Mobley, and Mia Mobley; his brother, Frank Edwards;  sister-in-law, Celeste Edwards; sister-in-law Nina Edwards; son-in-law Chris Wilson and his daughter-in-law Autumn Gray; and several nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the Georgia Mountain Food Bank (gamountainfoodbank.org) or another food bank of your choice. 

In Their Honor Funeral and Cremation of Jasper is in charge of arrangements.
