Jewel Armstrong Maloney, 94, of Dawsonville, died Jan. 8, 2014.
She was a member of Winters Chapel United Methodist Church.
During World War II, she contributed to the war effort by working as a "Rosie the Riveter" at the Bell Bomber Plant. Though she had many jobs, her greatest career was being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors include her children, Barry and Denise Maloney of Dahlonega, Johnny and Kim Maloney of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Chris and Beverly Maloney, Scott and Tiffany Maloney, Mason Maloney, Kennady Mays, Nash Maloney; great-grandchildren, Madison Maloney, Sydney Maloney, Ella Maloney, Kara Maloney; sister, Frances Armstrong Ross; sister-in-law, Sara Kinnard; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 12 at Winters Chapel United Methodist Church. Services were officiated by the Revs. Shelia Preacher and James Sanders. Interment followed at the Edison Family Cemetery.
Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
