Jessie Tinsley, 72, of Cumming, died May 26, 2014.

His parents, Guy and Alene Tinsley; sister, Emma Brady; brothers, Willie Frank "Buddy" Tinsley and Gene Tinsley, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Lanell Tinsley of Cumming; children, Michael and Brenda Cook, Jessie James Jr. and Tammy Tinsley, Chris Singleton, all of Cumming, Cheryl Denise Turner of Jefferson, Rhonda and Jamie Brown of Franklin; sisters and brother-in-law, Esther Taylor of South Carolina, Geraldine and Keith Dillingham of Dawsonville; 25 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. May 29 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Purcell officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday at the funeral home from.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ingram Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
