Jerry "Tim" Lord, 44, of Chamblee, died Friday, June 20, 2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital following an extended illness.  A native of Fulton County, he had lived in Chamblee for 39 years.  He was employed by Kroger in Chamblee and formerly owned and operated Lord Construction Services.  Tim was a loving father to his twins and was loved by his many friends and family.  Survivors include his children, Ben and Josie Lord of Chamblee; former wife and loving companion, Jeanne Lord of Chamblee; mother, Peggy Lord Dawkins of Gainesville; sister, Cindy Lord of Dawsonville; brother, Jeffery W. Lord of Gainesville; adopted sisters and brothers, Deborah Tallant, Sandy Ritter, Jimmy Barnes, George Barnes, all of Cumming; uncle, Phil Lord of  Blue Ridge; various other relatives also survive.  Memorial services will be Sunday, June 299 at 3 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Will Mosley will officiate.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a trust fund in either Ben or Josie Lord at any Bank of America location.  Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
