Jeffrey Charles Spillane

Jeffrey Charles Spillane, 57, of Dawsonville, died Nov. 26, 2016.

He was born in San Francisco, Calif., on Nov. 7, 1959.

His parents, Joseph Kevin and Mary Belita Spillane, preceded him in death.

He graduated from Ridgeview High School, the class of 1979, in Sandy Springs.

Jeff was married to Lisa Kay Palazzolo at Saint Jude's Catholic Church in Atlanta on July 25, 1987.

Following high school, Jeff joined the army and was a Green Beret in the Special Forces.

After leaving the army, Jeff worked for various companies in the communication industry including 3M.

Through extensive work in outdoor advertising, Jeff chose to launch his own company: Outdoor Communication Structures INC, in 1997.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa; children, Kevin Patrick, Jonathan Paul, Megan Mary, Joseph Anthony, Anna Rose Therese and Mary Catherine Rita; brother, Dr. Kevin and his wife Peggy; and their daughters, Courtney, Rachel, Olivia and Emily; sisters, Dr. Rose Marie Spillane and Dr. Annamarie Spillane Paulsen and her husband, Dr. Douglas Paulsen, and their children, Tai and Sophia; various other relatives also survive.

The funeral mass was held at 11 a.m. Dec. 3 at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Cumming.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to the New Building Fund for Christ the Redeemer Church in Dawsonville, www.christredeemerchurch.net.

McDonald and Son Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
