Jeff S. Bearden, 41, of Dahlonega, died March 23, 2015.

Born June 30, 1973 and raised in Dawsonville, Mr. Bearden had been a resident of Dahlonega for the past 13 years.

He was of the Baptist faith and had been employed by Koyo, formerly Torrington, for the past 20 years.

Well liked, friendly and outgoing, he enjoyed antique cars, riding motorcycles and spending time with his friends.

His grandmother, Lois Chumley; and grandparents, Eva and Grady Bearden, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his mother, Linda C. Bearden of Dawsonville; father, Ronnie Bearden of Dawsonville; sister, Dana B. Brackett of Dawsonville; nephew, Cole E. Brackett; grandfather, Loy S. Chumley of Marble Hill; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. March 26 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Phillip Burt and T.R. Myers officiating. Interment followed in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
