Jeff David Bruce, 47, of Dawsonville, died July 2, 2011.

Born March 12, 1964, he was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County.

He was a former driver for Swift Trucking and was also the former warehouse manager at City Plumbing.

Jeff was a member of New Life Church of God.

His brother, Duane Bruce, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his parents, Ernest and Gladys Bruce of Dawsonville; brother, Dwight Bruce of Dawsonville; grandfather, Robert Hicks of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. July 5 at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Leonard W. Ridings and Lee Ayers officiating. Interment followed in Sawnee View Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be made to assist with final expenses.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
