Janice W. Powell, 70, of Dawsonville, died May 7, 2018. Born Feb. 16, 1948 in Pickens County to the late Alvin and Myrtis Ray, she lived most of her life in Dawson County. Janice worked many years as a beautician and was a member of Foothills Community Church. She was an extremely devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her sister, Sherry Ray, preceded her in death.
