Janet Brown, 52, of Dawson County, died March 2, 2017.

Survivors include her sons, David Brown, John Brown and James Matthew Bennett, all of Dawsonville; brother, Daniel McFarland of Ellijay; grandchildren, Dakota Chance Brown and Skylah Brown; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. March 5 from the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Johnny Grizzle officiating. Interment followed at Burnt Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family accepted flowers or donations made to Cagle Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.

Cagle Funeral Home of Ellijay was in charge of the arrangements.
