Jane S. Young, 73, of Lawrenceville, died June 5, 2015.

Born Feb. 18, 1942, in southern Missouri, to the late Herbert and Anna Schuerenberg, she moved to Atlanta in 1960 and lived in Gwinnett County since 1976.

She worked several years as a bookkeeper for Sutton Construction Specialty until her retirement.

Jane enjoyed cooking, especially biscuits, decorating and shopping.

Her husband of 52 years, Howard Young; a sister; and four brothers, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Tanya Honeycutt of Los Angeles, Calif., Keith and Chelley Young of Statham, Ricky and Sandee Cosper of Peachtree City; grandchildren, Montana Honeycutt, Maxwell Young, Taylor Young, Michael Cosper, Kevin Cosper; great-grandson, Colton Honeycutt; sisters, Judith Sullivan, June Roberts, Ellen Bond, Joy Householder; brothers, Glen Schuerenberg, Dickie Schuerenberg; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. June 8 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Owens officiating. Interment followed in the Tinsley Chapel Cemetery.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
