Jane K. Kuhs, 61, of Dawsonville, died Monday, Nov. 24, 2008.

  

Born in Milwaukee, Wis., she lived in Thousand Oaks, Calif. before moving to Georgia in 1996.

  

She had lived in Dawson County for the past 6 years, having moved from Duluth.

  

Mrs. Kuhs was the former Director of Adult Education at St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Duluth.

  

A loving wife and dedicated mother, she was devoted to the needs of others and was active in the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Dawson County.

  

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Kuhs of Dawsonville; children, Jon and Chrissy Kuhs of Hoschton, Andy Kuhs of Cumming, Danny Kuhs, Joey Kuhs, both of Alpharetta; father, Donald Martin of Minoqua, Wis.; sisters, Cheryl Martin of Presque Isle, Wis., Pat Hordyk of Minneapolis, Minn.; brother, Scott Martin of Madison, Wis.; grandchildren, Ryan Kuhs and Emiko Kuhs; various other relatives also survive.

  

Memorial services were Saturday, Nov. 29 at 1 p.m. at Christ Redeemer Catholic Church with Msgr. Stephen Churchwell officiating.

  

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested to be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at Christ Redeemer Catholic Church, 991 Kilough Church Road, Dawsonville, GA 30534.

  

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
