James T. “Terry” Davis, 74, of Gainesville, formerly of Big Canoe, died Oct. 6, 2018. Born Dec. 20, 1943 in Caliente, Nev. to the late Leonard and Mary Sue Davis, he had lived in this area for the past 10 years having moved from Hilton Head, S.C. Mr. Davis retired at age 50 as the Senior Vice President of Time Warner Cable. Terry was a dedicated volunteer to Habitat for Humanity and enjoyed farming, travel, fishing, nature and horses. He was extremely devoted to his family.
