James David Mackler, 65, of Gainesville, died Aug. 1, 2012.

Survivors include his wife, Gail Mackler of Gainesville; children, B.J. Mackler of Gainesville, Steven and Jennifer Mackler of Dawsonville; sister, Elinor Tyre of Macon; brother, John Mackler; grandson, Everett Mackler; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Aug. 4 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to your favorite charity in Mr. Mackler's memory.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
