Jaime Baray

Jaime Baray, born April 15, 1943, of Cumming, died Sept. 14, 2008.

 

 

He was born in Los Angeles, Calif.

 

 

His parents, Esperenza Baray and Pedro Baray of Los Angeles, Calif., preceded him in death.

 

 

Jaime had three decades of award winning architectural design, including numerous awards of distinction with John Wieland homes and neighborhoods and Colonade Homes.

 

 

His passion was the Lake Lanier Association, where he was a board member and instrumental in numerous fund raising events, including golf and fishing tournaments.

 

 

He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church of Cumming.

He served in the U.S. Army in Europe.

 

 

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Donna Quails Baray of Cumming; son, Jerad Baray of Roswell; three grandchildren, Corbin, Jaden and Micah Baray of Roswell; brother, Cesar Baray of Los Angeles, Calif.; various other relatives also survive.

 

 

Funeral services were Friday, Sept. 19 at 2 p.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church.

 

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations in memory of Jaime Baray be made to Good Shepherd Catholic Church Parish Life Center, 3740 Holtzclaw Road, Cumming, GA 30041.

 

 

McDonald and Son Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
