Ivar Brothen, 80, of Dawsonville, died Feb. 7, 2015.

Mr. Brothen was born Oct. 29, 1934 in Fergus Falls, Minn.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Ivar Brothen was held at 1 p.m. Feb. 12 at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Cumming.

Georgia Cremation of Duluth was in charge of the arrangements.
