Hugh Henderson, 67, a native and lifelong resident of Cumming, died Sept. 25, 2011.

Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Janice Henderson of Cumming; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Shane Henson of Dawsonville, Leah and Kevin Satterfield of Gainesville, Betsy and Blake House of Gillsville; son and daughter-in-law, Hugh Jr. "Bud" and Mindy Henderson of Dahlonega; seven grandchildren; brothers, Larry Henderson, Roger Henderson; sisters, Vivian Martin, Betty Forbush, Velma Stickel; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sept. 28 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with the Revs. Danny Orr, Ruel Martin and Roger Shadburn officiating. Interment will follow in New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
