Hilda Voyles Batchelor

Hilda Voyles Batchelor, 72, of Dawsonville, died Oct. 15, 2014.

Born July 22, 1942, to the late Ganer and Maxine Voyles, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County.

A proud grandmother and great-grandmother, Mrs. Batchelor worked for many years in the poultry industry and leaves behind three beloved dogs, Rocky, Radar and Little Bit and a cat, Ashes.

She was a member of the Buford Church of God.

Her brother, Donald Kenimer, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy Martin and Tyler Brewer, Deanna Perry, Vendetta and Erasmo Herrera, all of Dawsonville; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Becky Voyles of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Jennifer Radilla, Justa Martin, Bobby Joe Perry, Kaitlin Brewer, Tiffany Keys; six great-grandchildren; special cousin, Elaine Voyles of Gainesville; special friend, Pam Livesay of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Nov. 1 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Allen Boyd officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to help offset final expenses.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville is in charge of the arrangements.
