Hilda H. Cox, 93, of Dawsonville, died Feb. 25, 2018. Born July 24, 1924 to the late Bill and Ludie Hogan in Rebecca, Georgia, Hilda had been a resident of Dawsonville since 1982, coming from Dekalb County. Ms. Cox retired after teaching in Georgia Public School Systems for 32 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Dawsonville where she taught Sunday school, sang in the choir and was very active in other church activities. For many years she was a member of the Dawson County Woman’s Club and Dawson County Chamber of Commerce.
