Harold Stoneman, 80, of Cumming, formerly of Breckenridge, Mich., died Sept. 27, 2009.

  

He retired from Roswell Presbyterian Church as a custodian for 12 years, prior to farming for 40 years.

  

He was the third son of John and Leona Stoneman, both deceased.

  

His brother, Gerald Stoneman, also preceded him in death.

  

He was a member of Piedmont United Methodist Church in Cumming.

Survivors include his wife, Karen; children, Dennis Stoneman of Orlando, Fla., Cindy Malewitz of Charlotte, Mich., Sheila Stoneman of St. Louis, Mich., Carrie Stoneman of Birmingham, Ala., Beth Huston and her husband Bryan of Dawsonville; five grandchildren, Jeremy Pierson, Heather Pierson, Shannon Pueschner, Jacob Malewitz, Nathan Pueschner; two great-grandchildren, Gracie Pueschner and Alexis Pierson; brother, Dale Stoneman of Breckenridge, Mich.; sisters, Garnet Burkett of Breckenridge, Mich., Joann Rose of Merrill, Mich., Margaret Freed of Elwell, Mich.; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1 at Countrywide United Brethren Church followed by graveside burial at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Breckenridge, Mich.

  

In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be made to the American Heart Association.

  

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
