Harold Poore, 84, of Dawsonville, died Nov. 26, 2013.
He was born in Hall County on Aug. 23, 1929. He was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church.
He retired from North Georgia College. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and gardening. He also enjoyed his gospel/bluegrass music.
His parents, Ross Coleman and Bertie Reeves Poore, two brothers, four sisters; and former spouse, Cora Mae Poore, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Doris and Ronnie Woody of Suches, Ann and Ronnie Fields, Brenda and Ernie Dunn, all of Dahlonega, Robbie and Rick Goode of Dawsonville; five grandchildren, Anthony Pruitt, Bryan and Jennie Wilson, Lacy Garrett, Christopher Taylor and Brandon Dunn; two great-grandchildren, Kaleb and Matthew Wilson; one sister, Miss Martha Ann Poore of Murrayville; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Nov. 30 at the Dahlonega Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. C.B. Martin officiating. Interment followed at Dahlonega Memorial Park Cemetery.
Dahlonega Funeral Home of Dahlonega was in charge of the arrangements.
