Harold Dean Seitz, 85, of Dahlonega, died April 16, 2013.

Mr. Seitz was born on Oct. 25, 1927, in Lumpkin County. He was a farmer, a U.S. Army World War II veteran and a member of the Wesley Chapel Methodist Church in Dahlonega.

Survivors include his wife, Carmen Waters Seitz of Dahlonega; sons, Stanley, Larry and Bobby Seitz, all of Dahlonega; daughter, Joyce Hutcheson of Richmond, Ky.; brothers, Carlton and L.D. Seitz, both of Dahlonega; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. April 18 at Wesley Chapel Methodist Church in Dahlonega with the Revs. Calvin Ward and Andrew Harwood officiating. Interment followed in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery.

Bernhardt Funeral Home of Ellijay was in charge of the arrangements.
