Glendon Cook, 81 of Dawsonville, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2008.

Mr. Cook was an Elder Deacon of Bethel Baptist Church in Doraville. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers and was preceded in death by his wife, Wynell Cook.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Robert G. and Vicki Cook, Jr. of Dawsonville, Randall N. and Vickie Cook of Stockbridge; brother, John Marvin Cook of Cumming; sister, Frances Woodall of Cumming; grandchildren, Christy Martin, Richard Cook, Joshuah Cook and MacKenzie Cook; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were Thursday, Dec. 4 at 1 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment followed in Green Lawn Cemetery.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
