Gladys Eva O'Kelley, 87, of Cumming, formerly of Dawsonville, died Oct. 23, 2016.

Gladys was born Dec. 24, 1928 in Dawsonville, to the late James and Bertie Fouts Pinion. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend, and was a great cook, always wanting to feed everyone. She loved cleanliness, the outdoors and spending time in her garden.

Gladys enjoyed having people around her and making them laugh.

Her husband, Joe R. O'Kelley; siblings, Annie Mae Pinion, Estelle Pinion, Mary Ruth Pinion, Junior Pinion and Janelle Burrows, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda and John Craig of Dawsonville, Myra and James Frady, Donna Whitt, all of Cumming; son, David O'Kelley and his devoted friend, Jackie Shelton of Cumming; grandchildren, Richard Buice, Anthony Frady, April Dudley, Melissa Anthony, Jessica Ramey; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Ellie Lou Neal of Norcross; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 26 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Charles Blackstock officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming is in charge of the arrangements.
