Geraldine West Gravitt, 73, of Cumming, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009.

Her husband, Morris E (Cotton) Gravitt preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Dennis and Marsha Gravitt, Roy Dwayne Gravitt, Denna and David Beauchemin, Daylon and Pattie Gravitt, all of Cumming; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Buddy Brown, Christine and W.L. West, all of Canton, Judy and Edwin Bishop of Cumming; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob and Patsy West, Jim and Corine West, J.W. and Doris West, Pinky and Rosaline West, Jack and Betty West, Joe and Diane West, all of Canton; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ford Gravitt, Edwin and Marie Gravitt, all of Cumming, Winford and Joyce Gravitt of Canton, Everett and Violet Hansard of Villa Rica, Dorothy McPherson of Griffin; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were 2 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 27 at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Danny Orr and Paul Shadburn officiating.

Interment followed in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
