Fannie Lou Martin, 91, of Dawsonville, died Feb. 19, 2015.

Born March 3, 1923 in Lumpkin County to the late Harvey and Renda Dispain, she lived most of her life in Dawson County.

A homemaker most of her life, she was also formerly employed at Hasco.

Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Martin; sons, Lane Martin, L.E. Martin; and daughter, Linda Taylor.

Survivors include her children, Egbert and Nickey Martin, Wayne and Becky Martin, Betty and Richard Reeves, all of Gainesville, Judy and Bobby Dills, Lorrie Picklesimer, both of Dawsonville; brother, Morris Dispain of Comer; 32 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Feb. 21 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Mike Owens and L.C. Bennett officiating. Interment followed in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
