Evelyn Shaw Waldrep, 89, of Flovilla, Ga., formerly of Dawsonville, died Oct. 12, 2017. Born Oct. 31, 1927 in Ozark, Ala. to the late Jim Bob and Connie Pearl Carr, she moved to Dawson County in 1984 and lived here until moving to Flovilla eight years ago. A homemaker at her death, Mrs. Waldrep volunteered at Northeast Georgia Medical Center for many years. Evelyn was a wonderful mother and enjoyed her friends.
