Eula Belle Grant, 91, of Gainesville, died Oct. 2, 2011.

Born Oct. 5, 1919 in Hall County to the late Joseph Benjamin and Fannie Pearl Robinson, she lived most of her life in Dawson and Forsyth counties.

A homemaker at her death, Mrs. Grant formerly owned and operated a poultry farm and worked for the Forsyth County Board of Education at Chestatee Elementary School until her retirement.

She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

Her husbands, Charley Turner and Jay Grant; daughters, Shirley Smith, Charlene Kersh, Charm Mooney, Rita Weaver; grandson, Stacey Weaver; great-great-granddaughter, Cheyenne Stanford; four sisters and two brothers, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Martha Reeves of Dawsonville; sisters, Maggie Abbott of Roswell, Annie Mae Elrod of Dawsonville; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 5 at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Joey Gilbert and Robert Kersh officiating. Interment followed in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harmony Baptist Church, 1575 Harmony Church Road, Dawsonville, GA 30534.
