Ernestine Fussell Barry, 87, of Warner Robins, died June 23, 2010.

  

Ms. Barry was born Nov. 2, 1922 in Abbeville, Ga. and earned a degree in computer programming.

  

She later retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base as a computer programmer. A former Pink Lady, she was a member of the Pilot Club and a volunteer with Meals on Wheels.

  

She was also a Sunday school teacher and Northside Baptist Church was her church home.

  

Her husband, Dan W. Barry Jr.; son, Jimmy Clarke Barry; and a daughter, Katherine Reid Barry, preceded her in death.

  

Survivors include her son, Robert Michael Barry Sr. of Dawson; sister, Nellie Cagle McDuffy of Macon; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. June 26 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Fennell officiating. Interment followed in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Dooly County.

  

In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made to the Albany Community Hospice, 2332 Lake Park Drive, Albany, GA 31707-3132.

  

McCullough Funeral Home of Warner Robins was in charge of the arrangements.
