Elizabeth "Nana" Hansard Sanders, 59, of Dawsonville, died Oct. 5, 2011. She was a member of Haw Creek Baptist Church.

Her father, Aubrey Hansard; and brother, Hugh Hansard, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Lanier Sanders of Dawsonville; mother, Mildred Hansard of Cumming; children, David and wife Tara Sanders of Dawsonville, Dennis and wife Hollie Sanders of Lexington, S.C., Diane and husband Lowell Freeman of Cumming; grandchildren, Abby, Amy, Luke, Ashley, Heath and Kayla; various other relatives also survive.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Oct. 8 at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens with the Revs. Nathan Martin, Horace Richards and Larry Vaughan officiating.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
