Elise S. Huffstetler, 89, of Dawsonville, died Aug. 5, 2010.

  

Born March 15, 1921 to the late Greene and Lila Stowers, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. Mrs. Huffstetler was a seamstress for over 30 years with Sweet Orr, Hasco and retired from Warren Featherbone.

  

She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Huffstetler; sons, Russell Huffstetler, Richard Huffstetler; son-in-law, Ricky Grogan; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Huffstetler; various other relatives also survive.

  

Survivors include her children, Ted and Barbara Huffstetler of Dawsonville; Joy Grogan of Cumming; Jan and Norman Adkins of Gainesville; grandchildren, Derrick and Kelly Grogan, Wren and John Unger, Russell Huffstetler, Angela Adkins, Trevor Grogan; great-grandchildren, Kayla Huffstetler, Timothy Ellis Grogan; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Aug. 8 at Harmony Baptist Church with the Revs. Joey Gilbert, Keith Allison and Gary Coffey officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

  

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
