Edna Grace McBrayer Wheeler

Edna Grace McBrayer Wheeler, 91, of Cumming, died Jan. 7, 2015.

She was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County, where she was a homemaker and loved gardening.

Edna was a member of Coal Mountain Baptist Church.

She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend.

Her husband, Ben Wheeler; son, Robert Wheeler; parents, Oscar and Cora Redd McBrayer; brother, Hoyt McBrayer; and sisters, Bertie Bottoms and Willie Mae McBrayer, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Linda and Lamar Westbrook of Cumming; sister, Hazel McBrayer; grandchildren, Cody and Jennifer Westbrook, Shelby and Mark Cochran, Slade and Elizabeth Westbrook, Kerri and Steve Aune, Candice Wheeler; 14 great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 11 at Coal Mountain Baptist Church with the Revs. Harold Bottoms, Dexter Gravitt and Scott Bailey officiating. Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
