Edith Pinion Gee, 88, of Dawsonville, died Jan. 3, 2017.
Born June 30, 1928 to the late John Wesley and Ruby Pinion, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County.
A homemaker at her death, Edith and her husband formerly operated a poultry farm.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Her husband of 64 years, Junior Gee; daughter, Sandra Cain; son, Dennis Wayne Gee; three brothers and three sisters, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Judy and Larry Sheffield, Jimmy and Paulette Gee, David and Kathy Gee, Phyllis and Bradley Mooney, all of Dawsonville; son-in-law, Royce Cain of Dawsonville; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Eloise Bramblett, Kathleen Goswick, both of Dawsonville, Margaret Porter of Atlanta; sisters-in-law, Annie Lou Pinion, Anne Gee, both of Dawsonville; brother-in-law, Albert Gee of Cleveland; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 6 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Rodney Pilcher and Tom Stradley officiating. Interment followed in the Dawsonville City Cemetery.
Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
