Earnest Hamilton Fields, 55, of Talking Rock, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009.

He was of the Baptist faith.

His father, J.C. Fields; and, brother, Loyd Yancey, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his mother, Lillie Fields of Dahlonega; sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Tommy Roper of Gainesville, Lisa Franklin of Canton and Sue and Gerald Coker of Lavonia; brother, Jimmy Fields of Dahlonega; friend/cousin, Gene Garland of Talking Rock; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28 at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Charles Blackstock and Frank Whitmire officiating.

Interment followed in Long Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery in Jasper.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
