Earnest Anderson, 83, of Cumming, died May 11, 2016.

He was a lifelong member of Temple United Methodist Church.

His wife, Lou Anderson; sister, Sonja Bailey and brother, Bussy Anderson, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Yvette and Danny Cothran of Cumming; sisters and brother-in-law, Sue Griffith of Mableton, Mazie and Harold Stone of Duluth; grandson and wife, Nathan and Shannon Cothran of Cumming; great-grandchildren, McKayla and Jett Cothran; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. May 13 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dennis Bottoms and Allen Dixon officiating. Interment followed in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to The Humane Society of Forsyth County, P.O. Box 337, Cumming, GA 30028, or a charity of your choice.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
