Dottie Charm Turner Mooney, 64, of Cumming, died Monday, Sept. 22, 2008.

She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

 

 

Born and raised in Dawson County, she moved to Cumming when she married her loving husband of 47 years, Clayton Mooney.

 

 

Her father, Charlie Turner and sisters, Shirley Smith, Rita Weaver and Charlene Kersh preceded her in death.

 

 

Survivors include her loving husband, Clayton Mooney; daughter and son-in-law, Bridget Stanford and Wayne Sams; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Michelle Mooney; daughter and son-in-law, Leigh and David Evans; grandchildren, Robert Clay and Chasity Stanford, Brooke Cohran, Dakota Mooney, Casey Evans, all of Cumming; mother, Eula Turner Grant of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Jimmy Reeves of Dawsonville; a loving church family from Zion Hill and Crossroads Baptist Church; various other relatives also survive.

 

 

Funeral services were Thursday, Sept. 25 at 3 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Revs. Gary Coffey, Robert Kersh and Gerald Blackburn officiating. Interment followed in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

 

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
