Dorthy Lee Martin, 74, of Dahlonega, died Wednesday Dec. 10, 2008.

  

Mrs. Martin was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County, a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith.

  

She was the daughter of the late Bud and Annie Mae Woody Dover and was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Martin; brother, William Dover; sisters, Lillie Belle Smith and Anna Rider.

  

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy and Joe Hoseman, Elizabeth and Tony Fields, Mary and Timmie Nichols, all of Dahlonega, Nellie and Stanley Fields of Dawsonville; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Martin, James and Belinda Ann Martin, Barbara Martin, Ernest and Denise Martin, all of Dahlonega; sisters, Margie Abernathy of Gainesville, Cindy Ella Stier of Dawsonville; brothers, R.B. Dover and Richard Dover, both of Dahlonega, Marvin Dover of Gainesville; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega with the Revs. Tim Hicks, James Wilbanks and Jimmy Manders officiating.

  

Interment followed in the Church of the Almighty God Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

  

Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega was in charge of the arrangements.
