Doris Hamby Eubanks, 71, a native and lifelong resident of Forsyth County, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009.

  

She was a member of Daves Creek Baptist Church.

  

Her husband, Marcus Eubanks preceded her in death.

  

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Johnny and Cynthia Eubanks of Dawsonville; daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Chuck Thompson of Cumming; grandchildren, Andrea Eubanks of Dawsonville, Hannah Thompson, Nathaniel Thompson and Ethan Thompson, all of Cumming; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Doris Hamby, Ralph and Patricia Hamby, all of Cumming, Larry and Shirley Hamby of Dawsonville; sister and brother-in-law, Noell and Ernest Honea of Cumming; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Doug Carnes, Jason Hamby and Harold McCord officiating.

  

Interment followed at Daves Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

  

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
