Donna Sue Roland, 58, of Dawsonville, died Aug. 4, 2018.
Donna was born in Tate on Oct. 14, 1959.
Donna loved her nieces and nephews very much. In fact, to say she spoiled them is an understatement. She loved everyone she met and that love was given right back to her. Donna was as special and unique as anyone could be and will be greatly missed by her family. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and a member of Concord Baptist Church in Silver City.
Her father, Donas D. Roland, and brother, Dennis Roland,
preceded her in death.
Survivors include her loving mother Estelle Roland of Dawsonville; brother and
sister-in-law, Doyal and Deborah Roland of Murrayville; sister and brother-in-law
Darlene Rebecca and Allen Stone of Dawsonville; several nieces, nephews, great
nieces, a great nephew and a great-great niece; various other relatives also
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Aug. 7 in the chapel of Banister Funeral Home. The Rev. Danny Spurr officiated. Interment followed in Amicalola Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family received friends from 4 to 9 p.m. Aug. 6 at the funeral home.
Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
