Dexter Dean McBrayer, 31, of Dawsonville, died Oct. 31, 2015.

Dexter was a wonderful father, who adored his wife and children.

He loved candy, especially Reece's Peanut Butter Cups.

Dexter was always known as a loving, trusted friend and peacemaker, who loved the Lord and was a member of Holy Grounds Tabernacle.

His son, Lukas McBrayer; and his father, Howell Dean McBrayer, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Ashley Leigh Martin of Cumming; son, Nathaniel Smith of Cumming; daughter, Kylee McBrayer of Cumming; mother, Peggy Patrick Carbajal; brothers, David McBrayer, Derek McBrayer, William McBrayer; sisters, Deanna McBrayer, Miracle Suddeth, Anna McBrayer, all of Dawsonville; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mattie and Randy Martin of Cumming; brother-in-law, Josh Martin of Cumming; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at noon Nov. 7 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Michael Patrick and Ruel Martin officiating. Interment followed at Sawnee View Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
