David "Danny" Lamar Hyde, 62, of Dawsonville, died Jan. 28, 2015.

Danny was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Cumming.

His parents, Joseph and Dessie Hyde; sister, Dot Heard; brothers, Frankie, Doris and Daniel Hyde, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Joy Hyde of Dawsonville; children, Daniel and Beth Hyde, Zachary and Lorna Hyde, Blake Hendrix, all of Dawsonville, Nathan and Jennifer Hyde of Canton; six grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ann and Fred Chumbler of Helen, Peggy and Chuck Horton of Cumming; brothers, Billy Hyde of Canton, Gene Hyde of Cumming; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Martha Hyde of Woodstock, Billy Heard of Milton, Larry "Bongo" Bailey, Lamar "D.A." Bailey, Danny Bailey, Dennis "Red" and Kathy Bailey, Penny Bailey, all of Cumming; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Feb. 1 at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Garry English, Dennis Bottoms and Bud Sutton officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
