David B. “Dave” Sutton, 81, of Dawsonville, died Sept. 16, 2018. Born Feb.15, 1937 in Franklin, N.C. to the late Mont and Mary Sutton, he had lived in Dawson County for the past 11 years having moved from Forsyth County. Dave was a 1955 graduate of Cumming High School and attended Georgic Tech. He formerly owned and operated Sutton Construction Specialty Company which was the oldest privately owned construction supply business in Georgia. He was also a co-owner of DX2, Geosyntex, Inc. Mr. Sutton was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, was an avid golfer and possessed a great love of his dogs and classic cars.
