Danny Duff, 59, of Dawsonville, died March 16, 2019.

Born Jan. 15, 1960, Danny had been a resident of Dawsonville for most of his life.

He established and led the Circle of Prayer ICU ministry at Crossroads Baptist Church where he was an active member.  A hard working and devoted family man, Danny was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother.  He never met a stranger, enjoyed life and lived each day to the fullest.  An avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing most of all. 

His father, J.A. “Bunky” Duff; mother-in-law, Lula Townsend; and sister-in-law, Tammy Townsend, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Lisa Duff of Dawsonville; children, Darren and Kimberly Duff of Acworth, Dana and Brendan Murphy of Cumming; mother and stepfather, Carolyn and Jimmy Seabolt of Cleveland; grandchildren, Terence Murphy, Connor Murphy, Amy Marie Duff; brothers and sisters-in-law, Randall and Brandy Duff of Cleveland, Tony Seabolt of Cleveland; sister and brother-in-law, Shanda and David Murphy of Cleveland; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joel and Melanie Townsend of Cumming; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. March 21 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Garry English, Brody Hughes and Rodney Pilcher officiating.  Interment followed in the Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family received friends from 3 to 8 p.m. March 20 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 21 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations were requested to help offset final expenses.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
