Cynthia Ann Sedor, 57, of Dawsonville, died Oct. 20, 2016.

Cindy was born in Auburn, N.Y., to Michael and Joan Sedor on July 14, 1959. She graduated from Auburn High School and went on to earn a degree in respiratory therapy from S.U.N.Y. Upstate.

She late graduated from the Atlanta School of Massage and worked as a massage therapist in private practice in Dawsonville.

Cindy enjoyed quilting, gardening, bicycling, health and being outdoors.

Her parents, Michael and Joan, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her partner of 17 years, Shari Sassman of Dawsonville; sister and brother-in-law, Michele Sedor and Mark Protti of Shutesbury, Mass., nephew, Luke Protti of Shutesbury, Mass.; various other relatives also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations were requested made to the Atlanta Cancer Center at Northside Forsyth Hospital. Condolences/offerings may be sent c/o Shari Sassman, 6564 Hwy. 53 East, Suite 100, Dawsonville, GA 30534.

A memorial service will be held at Bethel United Methodist Church in Dawsonville at 5 p.m. Nov. 6.
