Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Harmon, 63, of Murrayville, died Sept. 3, 2016.

Ms. Harmon was born April 28, 1953 in Kansas City, Mo.

Previously of Dawsonville, she had been a resident of Lumpkin County for the past three years.

A loving daughter, sister and aunt, she worked as a hairdresser for a number of years in the Dawsonville area.

Cindy was an avid country style cook, who had worked at Waffle House in Dawsonville.

Her sister, Pamela Thompson, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her parents, Jim and Ruby Harmon of Dawsonville; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Linda Harmon of Kansas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Susan and Chris Walsh of Dawsonville, Patty and David Cronic of Lawrenceville; various other relatives also survive.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sept. 7 at Dawsonville Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Frank Colladay officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dawson County Humane Society,

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville is in charge of the arrangements.
