Corene Almond Roberts, 74, of Dawsonville, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010.

  

She was a member of Hightower Baptist Church.

  

Her husband, William Artie Roberts; and sons, Jackie and Richard Almond, preceded her in death.

  

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Vama and Johnny Holtzclaw of Dawsonville; sons and daughters-in-law, J.R. and Patty Almond of Winder, Danny Almond of Dawsonville, Mark and Lisa Almond of Cumming; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters and brother-in-law, Sue Mollohan of Flowery Branch, Pat and Jim Rowlands of Ocala, Fla., Chris Edwards of Murrayville; brother and sisters-in-law, Rufus and Evelyn Patterson of Dahlonega; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Gary Coffey and Tony Holtzclaw officiating.

  

Interment followed in Hightower Baptist Church Cemetery in Dahlonega.

  

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
