Conrad McClure, 83, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 6, 2016.
Born Feb. 10, 1933 in Gilmer County to the late Dewey and Alma McClure, he had lived in Dawson County for the past 54 years.
A certified electrician, he was formerly employed by Dale Electric, after which he was the maintenance director for the Dawson County School System.
Conrad was a deacon at Lighthouse Baptist Church and was a member of Chestatee Lodge No. 102 F&AM.
An infant sister also preceded him in death.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Johnny McBrayer of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Brooke and Jason Williams, Chris and Amy McBrayer; great-grandchildren, Emma Williams, Brady Williams, Kynna Williams, Blakely Williams, Landon Lee, Alivia McBrayer; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Dec. 8 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Troy Foster, Terry Cowart and Jordan Reece officiating. Interment followed in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.
Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
