Clyde Wallace

Clyde Wallace, 71, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 18, 2012.

Born July 2, 1941, to the late Stowers and Jamey Wallace, he was a native and lifelong resident of Dawson County.

Mr. Wallace was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

For many years he was the owner and operator of Clyde Wallace Construction Company.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Wallace was also preceded in death by his sisters, Clara Mae Fauscett and Ione Warren.

Survivors include his wife of 51 and a half years, Barbara Chandler Wallace of Dawsonville; sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Lisa Wallace, Milan and Carol Wallace, all of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Brittany Sears, Hillary Wallace, Brooke Wallace, Kimberly Wallace and Jordan Wallace, all of Dawsonville; great-grandson, Eli Sears of Dawsonville; brother and sister-in-law, Clayton and Hazel Wallace; sister, Grace Pirkle of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Dec. 21 at Harmony Baptist Church with the Revs. Steve Warren, Gary Coffey and Jonathan Hill officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
