Cleo Fouts, 91, of Dawsonville, died Feb. 4, 2014.

Born Oct. 26, 1922 to the late John and Flara Anderson, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. A homemaker at her death, Mrs. Fouts was employed at Sweet Orr for more than 20 years, after which she worked a number of years at Hasco.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Her husband of 67 years, Esco Fouts; sisters, Margie Ford, Winnie Johnson; and a brother, Sonny Anderson, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Janice Lee of Lawrenceville; son, Jerry Fouts of Dawsonville; sisters, Faye Mabrey of Loganville, Jimmie Fausett of Dawsonville, Anne Roper of Jasper; sister-in-law, Annette Anderson of Jasper; grandchildren, Marcus and Kelly Fouts, Tony Gaddis, Whitney Lee, Pat and Missy Wilson; great-grandchildren, Austin and Avery Gaddis, Ace and Asher Fouts, Logan and Darby Wilson, Kali Milford; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Feb. 7 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jason Hamby and David Mitchell officiating. Interment followed in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
